Ashland DMV office will be closed this week

Closure prompted by statewide staffing shortages

The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles office in Ashland will be closed the week of Aug. 14 because of staffing shortages, according to a news release.

The office is typically open Tuesday through Thursday. DMV officials recommend checking DMV2U.Oregon.gov, both for services and appointments.

Anyone needing to visit a DMV office in person should visit the Medford office, 987 Medford Center, Medford. The office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. The office is closed 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for lunch.
