Want to see what’s inside a fire station? Here’s your chance. Ashland Fire & Rescue will host an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Station No. 1, 455 Siskiyou Blvd. All are welcome.
Visitors can expect to engage with firefighters, learn about collaborative efforts to enhance community disaster preparedness, meet administration and staff, tour the facility, connect with volunteer opportunities and community resources, as well as enjoy refreshments.
Parking is available downtown, though biking or walking is encouraged.
“We’re eagerly anticipating your presence!” the agency said in its announcement.
