Ashland High School teacher Paul Huard to talk about helping in Poland last year, plans for this summer
An Ashland High School teacher headed for Ukraine this summer to perform volunteer work will give a free talk about his upcoming trip and experiences last summer in Poland.
Paul Huard’s talk is set to start at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 7, at Ashland GracePoint Church, 1060 E. Main St., Ashland, next to the Ashland Middle school. The program is free to all who would like to hear about his work.
Huard spent five weeks of his vacation time last year in Poland helping refugees from Ukraine. This year he’ll be working with Front Line Kitchen, helping with food and transportation for refugees returning to Lviv, Ukraine.
