Rogue Gallery & Art Center to accept entries up until Jan. 10

By Alissa Corman, Rogue Valley Times

Black Alliance & Social Empowerment (BASE) Southern Oregon is looking to fill Rogue Gallery & Art Center with art from Black creatives for Black History Month.

Black artists of all ages — youth, adults, elders — are invited to participate, and all mediums — from painting, drawing and  photography, to sculpture, textiles, digital and spoken-word/lyrics on print and more — will be considered.

The exhibition will be on display from Jan. 20 to Feb. 20, 2026, at the gallery, located at 40 S. Bartlett St., Medford.

To participate, choose the pieces you’d like to show, label each piece with the artist’s name, and price if it’s for sale or mark NFS if the piece is not for sale, then drop off at Rogue Gallery & Art Center by Jan. 10.

A feature of the upcoming third annual exhibition will be the “Roots, Rhythm & Revolution” group showcase by BASE youth.

A closing reception will be held on Feb. 20.
