Residents of Ashland have a short window for providing feedback about the shelter through an online form.
Until noon Tuesday, Dec. 19, residents can submit comments to the city about the emergency shelter at 2200 Ashland St. The comments will be used by the City Council in determining what to do with shelter — decisions that will be made from late December to early January, according to a release on the city’s website.
The shelter has been open since Nov. 1 and is being operated by Opportunities for Housing, Resources and Assistance (OSHA) through a contract with the city of Ashland. The shelter has accommodated 38 guests and currently has 28 residing in the shelter.
To provide feedback on the shelter, visit the city’s comment form.
