City has been hit by blackouts throughout the summer; PacPow president to speak to residents

Pacific Power has organized a meeting in Talent to discuss power outages that have plagued the city this summer.
The meeting is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the Talent library, 101 Home St. It will include an opportunity to hear from Pacific Power President Ryan Flynn, who will discuss the outages and also explain what is being done to improve the power grid system.
There also will be a Q&A session on power safety and wildfire mitigation measures moderated by state Sen. Jeff Golden, D-Ashland, according to a city of Talent news release.
Further, citizens will be able to speak to a customer service team about their Pacific Power account.
No RSVP is required, and those unable to attend can send questions and feedback to outagefeedback@pacificorp.com.
