2023 Talent Harvest Festival

The 2023 Talent Harvest Festival will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in downtown Talent, according to a news release.

The event will feature “a colorful array of vendors, artisans, growers, and crafters,” the release said. “Get ready for an abundance of family-friendly activities, community arts, exceptional live music on multiple stages, and so much more.”

A fun run will be held prior, running from 8 to 10 a.m., starting at Talent City Hall, 110 E. Main St. Live music will be available at Wagner Plaza, Old Town Park, and Library Commons Park.

Vendor locations will be along East Main Street, with overflow onto Market Street, City Hall Drive, and John Street. Street closures will include East Main Street between Talent Avenue and Front Street, and the  overflow streets.

SOU to host first Red Cross blood drive on campus in nearly two decades

After a 17-year hiatus and amid a strain on the nation’s blood supply, the Red Cross is returning to the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland this week for a two-day blood drive.
