Peace House will hold a Vigil of Remembrance to mark the August 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Lithia Park entrance.
The annual event is a solemn commemoration of the U.S. deployment of atomic bombs on the two Japanese cities with a lighting of the memorial flame, speakers and music.
There will be music and lawn chairs for guests.
