Ali Davidson talks about her book – It’s Between You and Me: For Adult Children and their Senior Parents

No one wants to get old…but we’ve all got to do it. What if there was a way to use the aging process as a catalyst for bringing your family closer together, to heal old wounds, and discover new things about each other? What if there were a way to infuse the aging process with cooperation, empowerment, and appreciation.

Working with seniors and their families for ten years led the author to write this book to help people avoid the struggles she witnessed when we age without a plan. If you have ever thought about your own aging and asked yourself “what will I do when?” Then It’s Between You and Me will help answer those questions.

This book will take both the senior and the adult child on a rich and meaningful journey to the conversation that everyone wants to have but few are able to request. This will lead to harmony, greater respect, and clear expectations of each other’s desire.

This book is a manual taking you through a series of questions that enable you to create a plan for the aging years so that no crisis catches you off guard. It ensures that you remain independent throughout your life because you are in charge and making decisions that others can implement with peace of mind. Filled with information, stories, and guidance for creating your plan, this book is a must for anyone over 50
