Fundraiser Schedule of Events
11:00am-12-30pm – APPLEGATE RIVER FLORA WORKSHOP
This is your opportunity to learn the plants that grow along the Applegate River! Led by some of the best botanists in southern Oregon, Julie Spellitich and Richard Callagan from Siskiyou BioSurvey, this workshop will look at the riparian plants that call the Applegate River home. From wetland and streambank wildflowers, to sedges, rushes, grasses, shrubs and trees, riparian plants shape the habitat quality along the river. Workshop participants will learn about the native and non-native plants. Get to know the Applegate River that defines the Applegate River watershed a little better by learning more about the flora!
