Ashland Cooling Center

The city of Ashland cooling center in its severe weather shelter at 2200 Ashland St. will be open from noon to 7 p.m.
Space is limited. This is a low-barrier, no frills, cooling center — a safe and clean space with access to cool water and restrooms. The center is staffed at all times by volunteers.
During hot weather, people should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room if possible, avoid direct sunlight, check on relatives and neighbors, and monitor the latest forecasts and warnings at forecast.weather.gov.
In addition to the severe weather shelter, the Ashland Public Library at 410 Siskiyou Blvd. is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
