Ashland World Music Festival: Park Performances

Six fantastic performing groups in beautiful Lithia Park, with emcees Angela Decker and Leo Anifowose. Fun activities for all ages and delicious fare by local food trucks. Open to all. Free. This is an un-ticketed event.

Artist Line up:

Noon: The Family Carr. Music of the Celtic diaspora.
1 p.m.: Arjun Verma. Sitar music from Northern India.
1:45 p.m.: Malinka World Music Collective. Music of the Balkan diaspora.
2:30 p.m.: Jake Blount. Music of the Black diaspora in North America from the 1600’s to now.
3:30 p.m.: Fabiola Mendez Trio. Music from Puerto Rico.
4:30 p.m.: San Francisco Yiddish Combo. Klezmer music with a modern twist.
