Beyond Botox: A Holistic Perspective on Aging by Megan Doty

Would you love to look good at any age without invasive procedures? Would you like to be more beautiful through holistic and non-invasive approaches?

Learn to create a continuous cycle of good health and beauty. Regardless of our age, we women value beauty. We have been taught, what’s reinforced in popular culture, to put our attractiveness and beauty at the forefront of our minds. And seek it at any cost. So pervasive and accepted is this construct that it has spawned and maintained numerous multi–billion companies feeding off women’s insecurities and desire for a quick fix at the cost of health.

The challenge of what’s widely accepted as beauty enhancement options are that Fillers, Botox, surgeries, lasers and plastic surgery are invasive and challenge the body. Our faces aren’t meant to accommodate foreign materials. For example, any amount of filler will stretch skin, making it look tighter in the short term, but more elastic in the long term. Short term improvements aren’t consolation for the financial costs or severe health risks.

Megan honors every path and urges anyone considering these treatments to understand their risks, costs and consequences. The good news is that if you understand your body, learn healthy behavior, and stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities without challenging them, it is possible to look naturally and authentically beautiful.
Being present with her patients and audiences is the basis of Megan’s holistic approach to improving their health and beauty.
