Big Dog Studio Welcomes John Pugh Back to Ashland for First Friday Celebration

Internationally acclaimed muralist John Pugh is back in Ashland, and Big Dog Studio celebrates his return with a First Friday Art Walk event on February 7th, 2025 that will include a musical performance by Craig Chaquico.

After months of working on location in Denver and Washington, D.C., John is ready to share a behind-the-scenes look at his latest projects including the Ashland mural project “Where the Crow Lights.”

Where: Big Dog Studio – John Pugh’s Art Studio, 255 Helman St #1C/D, Ashland
When: Friday, February 7th, 2025 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
What: Drinks, light bites, live music, and an exclusive look at John’s latest murals-in-progress

ART & CONVERSATION | 6:30 PM
At 6:30 PM, John Pugh and his mural collaborators will share updates on the Ashland Mural Project, as well as his work currently in progress for Washington, D.C.

Following John’s artist talk, legendary guitarist and songwriter Craig Chaquico will take the stage, with an acoustic performance inspired by nature and indigenous cultures.
