Bridging Worlds: Ancient Insights and Modern Physics on Dreams and Reality by Jason Dobrowner

Ancient cultures around the globe developed beliefs that dreams act as gateways to other realities and as vehicles for divine revelations. This talk explores how these cosmologies fit within modern scientific frameworks, and how dreams can be used as guides to push our understanding of reality forward.

In this presentation we delve into various transcultural concepts from cultures in the ancient world, including the Celtic Otherworld and Australian Dreamtime, relating these to ideas found in modern physics in fields such as String Theory and Quantum Field Theory. We will also explore the biology behind dreaming and other trance states and speculate how these states may act as vehicles for tuning into other realities.

Throughout this journey Jason will share personal experiences from lucid dreams on his journey in exploring these deep topics.

Jason Dobrowner is a dreamworker and lucid dream practitioner committed to awakening the world to the potential of dreams. He currently focuses on developing Empowered Dreaming, an online platform that encourages people to bring about their highest potential through dreamwork. Jason was a career software developer and studied physics at University of California Santa Barbara.
