Do you love to just walk through a cemetery and admire the tombstones?
Many are beautiful. Some are sad. Some are scary. Sometimes you can just look at them and wonder “What on earth were they thinking?”
Do you know what the engravings mean? They all usually stand for something. What does W.O.W mean or how about BARE? Tombstones can tell you stories about your ancestors’ life, their occupations and personalities. Sometimes it is information you would love to know, or maybe not. This Halloween come walk with instructor Patricia Healy through some of the cemeteries of the world.
