Class: Creating Genetic Networks From DNA Matches

You’ve had your DNA tested and received a list of matches, now what?

In order to apply your DNA results to genealogy you must first understand how a match is related to you. The first step in doing this is to organize your matches into genetic networks, which will show you which branch of your family tree they belong to.

Jeanne Hoadley will demonstrate step by step how to use the Leeds method and the ancestry dot system to group your matches into genetic networks. An afternoon help session will follow from 1-3 pm so that you can practice your new skills with mentors standing by to help you if you get stuck.

Planning Commission approves Scenic Drive subdivision, delays Ashland Street commercial buildings
