Class: Finding the Records of Your Revolutionary War Ancestors

Do you have a family tradition of an ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War? How do you know this is true? Lots of records exist for finding your Revolutionary War Ancestor.

This program will cover DAR Lineage Books, muster rolls, and pay documents. We will also talk about Compiled Service Records (CSR), Revolutionary War Pension, Bounty Land Warrants, and what information they contain. We will cover what is available in libraries, archives, Fold3.com, Ancestry, and FamilySearch.org.

Patricia has been a long-time member of the Siskiyou County Genealogy Society, where she serves as treasurer. She is also a program director and gives monthly programs for the Society.
