Class: Using GOOGLE EARTH to map your ancestors’ journeys

This is the second in a three part series on using Google products for mapping your ancestors’ journeys. The first session was about Google Maps and third session will be about Google Earth Pro, the desktop version of Google Earth. Taking the first class is NOT a pre-requisite.

In this session, Kim Thurman will introduce Google Earth, a web-based program that renders 3D representations of Earth based on satellite imagery and aerial photographs. Note: The class will be from 10:30 – noon followed by a practice session from 1:00 – 3:00 PM the day of the class. Only the morning class will be accessible via Zoom.

Cost: $10 members, $20 non-members.
Hybrid – Zoom AND in person at the library.
Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, March 19.
