Celebrating 20 years of providing Southern Oregon’s youth with a theatrical home, Ashland Children’s Theatre is having a Ball! A Fairytale Ball! The event will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 6-9pm at the OSF Hay-Patton Rehearsal Center. It will be an enchanting adults-only evening of food, wine, silent action, raffle prizes, dancing and more, benefiting Ashland Children’s Theatre.
This magical evening is in honor of Ashland Children’s Theatre, celebrating not only the theatrical home they have created for the youth of the Rogue Valley, but also the many performances they bring to the entire community. Alumni, parents, and community members can come together to revisit the many successes of ACT and help ensure that they can continue to provide children and their families with theatre education, performance experiences, and opportunities for artistic self-expression. Guests are invited to arrive in festive fairytale attire and to step into an evening of merriment.
Originally founded under the wing of Oregon Stage Works in 2004, ACT has continued to offer classes, performances, summer camps, and workshops non-stop since their inception. Under the steady and creative hands of co-directors, Kate Sullivan and Eve Smyth, ACT has continued to thrive through the many changes and challenges of the last 20 years. It is definitely time for a party.
Ashland Children’s Theatre’s Fairytale Ball will take place on Saturday, November 16th from 6-9pm at OSF’s Hay-Patton Rehearsal Center, 200 Enders Alley in Ashland. Tickets are $60 online at www.ashlandchildrenstheatre.com and at the door. Festive fairytale attire encouraged!
