Farming Sustainably at SOU: A SOCAN field trip

Sustainable living simply means managing our resources today such that current generations can benefit, but not such that we compromise the ability of future generations to also benefit.

In a climate changing world, sustainable living includes farming sustainably. To learn how the Southern Oregon University farm meets the university’s goal of promoting sustainability, SOCAN’s August monthly meeting will be a field trip to the farm at 155 Walker Ave., Ashland, to explore how its operation serves that goal.
