The Fire in the Kitchen tournament is an annual fundraising pickleball event for firefighters with cancer. This year’s proceeds will go to Ashland Fire & Rescue’s own Daniel Caples, who was diagnosed earlier this year with cancer presumed to be caused my his work as a firefighter.
One $30 ticket pays for two players’ admission into the tournament.
There will be two divisions: 3.5 and under and 3.5 and over. This will be a round robin style tournament, so everybody will get a chance to play! Come out and help paddle out cancer!
