First Friday Art Walk

Ashland’s First Friday Art Walk event will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, in downtown Ashland.

Attendees can look forward to “an eclectic mix of visual delights, interesting conversations, intimate music, and tasty treats,” according to the event website.

“The collage of image and experience grows as you stroll through the galleries and studios that are located in the Historical Downtown and Railroad Districts,” the site reads.

Chabad of Southern Oregon to host Hanukkah celebrations, menorah lightings

The eight days and nights of Hanukkah will light up the Rogue Valley, with the Chabad Jewish Center of Southern Oregon heading multiple menorah lightings and holiday events to celebrate the season.
