The Southern Oregon Chapter of the National Association of Composers-USA presents a concert of new music by area composers, including William Ashworth, I’lana Cotton, Ken Deveney, Mark Jacobs, Beth Martin, Melissa Orr, Greg Steinke and Stephen Truelove.
Their compositions are scored for flute, cello and piano. Performers are Sherill Wood, flute, Lisa Frank, cello, and Iryna Kudielina, piano.

Ashland businesses could receive up to $20,000 in matching grant funds to renovate their property through a new pilot program offered by the city of Ashland. The program aims to help business owners improve the facades of their spaces through upgrades such as outdoor lighting improvement, awning repair, installing signage and other cosmetic improvements.
