Following a short member meeting, join Kim Thurman as she unravels the stories of six pioneering families who patented land in Shady Cove from the 1870s to the 1920s.
These settlers, diverse in race, ethnicity, and origin shared a common dream: to carve out a life along the Rogue River. Their histories reveal compelling tales of resilience, community, and the pursuit of opportunity in a changing frontier.
