After discovering seven unmarked family graves, Diane Claypool embarked on a journey to find their identities and their stories. With flashbacks from her early childhood, she was compelled to search back through time to another country, another culture, and another language, where nothing is possible and everything is possible. Diane Claypool will tell the story of this Italian journey, filled with locked doors, reluctant archivists, train strikes and other barriers to discovery, which provided newfound friends who guided the way.
