Gathering Space: A community workshop

Join the City of Talent, AARP Oregon, and Team Better Block for an interactive placemaking workshop, held 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the City of Talent Community Center, 104 E. Main St., Talent.

Placemaking is people-centered planning, design, and management of public spaces. It makes people feel good about where they live, work, or play. Come learn more and share your ideas for a proposed café, venue, and farmer’s market in Talent’s town center. Light refreshments will be served.

A walking tour will be held 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., followed by the workshop, held 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Register at https://events.aarp.org/TalentWorkshop.
