Explore your local Genealogical Society Library and join in our Fall Festival and Open House, celebrating our ancestors from around the world.

Learn about the many ways they welcomed harvest time and the end of Summer. Watch our PowerPoint presentation about the Old-World traditions and the celebrations our ancestors brought to America. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Bring a friend or two. Discover what our library offers to enhance your understanding of your ancestors’ lives, before and after they came to America, and the many traditions and customs they brought with them.

Level Up: Airing differences, bridging gaps

Ashland councilors Gina DuQuenne and Dylan Bloom on Wednesday gave Southern Oregon University students a lesson in how to express mutual admiration even while disagreeing. The councilors met with 15 students at Britt Hall to discuss voting, Ashland-centered topics and how to bridge the communication gap between the SOU campus and Ashland.
