Heather Ames talks about her books: Tapped by Fate and Tread Softly – the Ghost Shop Series

September 25 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Heather Ames will give an author talk from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Bloomsbury Books, 290 E. Main St., Ashland.

Heather will talk about the joys and tribulations of her publishing journey, finding the silver lining that became self-publishing, and how taking charge of her own future in the publishing industry has been at times fulfilling, aggravating, frustrating, enlightening, and so much more.

The Ghost Shop series, set in Salem and Oregon’s Willamette Valley, combines mystery with a paranormal twist and is Heather’s cozy series. In Book 1, a father, convinced his daughter’s drowning was no accident, teams up with a reluctant psychic, her enigmatic, fortune-telling assistant, a gargoyle that’s more animal than mineral, and a questionably-human winery owner to find and bring her killer to justice.

Each book is set in a different town within driving distance of Salem and features another difficult cold case for the sleuths to solve.
