Heroines in the History of Botany

The women who shaped the emerging field of botany from 1650 to 1850 led remarkable lives. They travelled, collected, classified, and published seminal contributions to the field against all odds. Who were they? Join us to learn more about these fascinating forgotten women.

Classically trained at the UCLA Landscape Architecture program, presenter Lucretia Weeks is a Jackson County Master Gardener and has been designing gardens in the Rogue Valley for more than 15 years.

Level Up: Airing differences, bridging gaps

Ashland councilors Gina DuQuenne and Dylan Bloom on Wednesday gave Southern Oregon University students a lesson in how to express mutual admiration even while disagreeing.
