Hike & Write: Forest Defender Training Series

Enjoy a shaded, moderate walk in the woods in a timber sale unit of the Poor Windy project to see the devastations of old-growth logging in real time, then put your passion to action by learning how to write effective letters to the editor.

Submitted pieces provide an additional line of communication with decision makers and help to raise awareness of the issues and encourage folks to take action. With your help, we can keep the drumbeat up on the importance of updating the Northwest Forest Plan!

It’s important that they hear from YOU. To learn more about the NWFP read KS Wild’s blog: https://www.kswild.org/conservation-efforts/northwest-forest-plan-revisions?rq=northwest%20forest%20plan
