Jackson County for All – Celebration and Fundraiser at Dos Mariposas Vineyards and Lavender Farm

The grassroots action group, Jackson County for All, is hosting a party and fundraiser featuring The Dirk Price Trio at Dos Mariposas Winery and Lavender Farm from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7.

We’ll be celebrating the gathering of 34,945 signatures to bring better government to Jackson County and raising funds for the campaign to pass three ballot measures in the upcoming election. Join us for music, dancing, a no-host wine bar and fun!

The Dirk Price trio features members of the popular Rogue Valley Band the Rogue Suspects –with the amazing guitarist Dirk Price, valley favorite, Greg Frederick on bass with Dave Bolan keeping the beat on drums. Get your tickets at jacksoncountyforall.org.

Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission approves budget request

March 14, 2025

Ashland Parks & Recreation Commissioners voted unanimously Wednesday to approve a requested budget for the department slightly higher than budget direction from the city. Senior Analyst Brandon Terry said the budget as directed would give the Parks & Recreation Department a total baseline budget of $22.3 million — $15 million for operations and $7.3 million for capital projects — for the next biennial budget, July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027.
