Jacksonville Garden Club Holiday Greens Sale

The Jacksonville Garden Club is offering a wide selection of beautiful wreaths, table arrangements, swags, and artistic crafts made by Club members at its annual Holiday Greens Sale on Friday, December 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The location is in the alcove next to the Jacksonville Post Office, near the intersection of Oregon and California Streets in downtown Jacksonville. Holiday greens are perfect to decorate your home or business, or to give as wonderful gifts to family or friends. Sweet treats will also be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sales support local student scholarships and Jacksonville beautification projects. Enjoy the Victorian spirit in downtown Jacksonville, support a good cause, and brighten your holidays with lovely natural greens!

Immigrants in Oregon could be significantly impacted by Trump’s second term

Oregon is preparing for what could be sweeping changes to its immigration landscape with President Donald Trump back in office. The state is home to about 120,000 undocumented immigrants.
