Jefferson Baroque Orchestra presents “Café Bach,” a performance that recreates Bach’s coffee shop Collegium Musicum performances in Leipzig.
Bach’s Brandenberg Concerto No. 5 and Coffee Cantata are featured with guest performances by Elana Cooper, violin, David Rogers, theorbo, and Michal Palzewicz, cello. A winter storm warning will be in effect from 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, to 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, for mid- to higher elevation parts of Jackson County according to a news release from the National Weather Service issued Sunday morning, Sunday, Feb. 15.
