Landscaping Issues for Homeowners and Renters

Landscaping design is all about making your outdoor space beautiful and supporting native wildlife, but it can also bring up questions for homeowners and renters.

Landscaping choices can impact a home’s fire safety, maintenance needs, irrigation projects, and more. Join JCLS and the Jackson County Master Gardeners Association to learn more about common questions and concerns for homeowners and renters hoping to create new designs, maintain current landscaping choices, or learn more about different landscaping options to help their outdoor spaces shine.

Sherri Morgan is the past president of the Jackson County Master Gardeners, and has taught in the Master Gardeners Practicum since 2011. She is the outgoing president of the Ashland Garden Club, and is currently the coordinator of the Community Garden Network and the administrator the grant monies offered to community gardens by the Jackson County Master Gardener board. Sherri is a retired landscape designer, with expertise in native plants and irrigation. In a previous life, she taught history, French, and worked as a speech pathologist in public schools.
