The League of Women Voters of the Rogue Valley will present a virtual informational presentation on Measure 15-214 from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, on Zoom, according to a news release.
The event is open to the public, though registration is required. Register here.
The measure would amend Ashland’s Food and Beverage Tax Ordinance, authorizing use of the tax to pay for city parks, open spaces, recreation, and senior services. The virtual event will include a presentation by city manager Joseph Lessard, with some time for discussion and questions.
“The city manager is unable to enter into debate on this issue, but will be able to answer questions,” the news release said. “All voices are welcome.”
