Malmgren Garage – Film showing

On Sunday October 13th at 2 pm the Talent Historical Society Museum, 105 N Market, will be showing two films by Mark and Cici Brown documenting the rebuilding of the historic Malmgren Garage in Talent.

“Beacon of Hope” is a 2-minute film showing architecture projects that transform communities. It shows how architects, civic leaders, and community all work together. It was a finalist in The America Institute of Architects Challenge.

The second film “Art of the Fire” brings together artists and writers who have shared experiences with the devastating Almeda Fire. They tell stories about personal loss, healing and moving forward. This film was selected and nominated for the Montreal film festival.
