The City of Ashland will hold an open house for its new emergency homeless shelter at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 2200 Ashland St., Ashland.
The Ashland City Council approved the property’s purchase at an Aug. 15 meeting.
Those attending the open house will be able to tour the site, receive an operational orientation by representatives from Options for Helping Residents of Ashland, and learn about the ongoing work that is happening at the emergency homeless shelter.
