The Oregon State University Extension’s Land Steward Program will host a spring flowers hike from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, along the East Applegate Ridge Trail, south of Jacksonville, according to a news release.
The hike costs $25, which includes a Native Plant Society of Oregon membership. A sliding scale is also available. Fees go to support the Land Steward Program.
Guided by OSU Land Steward Program coordinator Rachel Werling, the hike offers the chance to take in some “stunning views and learn some local plants and wildflowers along the way,” the release said.
