Peace Village presents Shimshai & Susana

Join us for an inspirational evening of Ceremonial and Medicine Music with Shimshai and Susana in the Skylight Room at Hidden Springs Wellness Center, 1651 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, on Friday, April 7.

Doors open at 7 p.m. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The Skylight Room is a beautiful round room filled with natural light and windows that overlook a lovely, natural landscape.

Shimshai and Susana weave their mellifluous voices to create an intricate tapestry of sacred and mystical sound. Be prepared to be transported to deep magical realms from the Amazon Rain Forest to the peaks of the Sierra Madre.

Level Up: Airing differences, bridging gaps

The councilors met with 15 students at Britt Hall to discuss voting, Ashland-centered topics and how to bridge the communication gap between the SOU campus and Ashland.

Photojournalism tips from a professional

Bob Palermini, professional photographer, will give a presentation about photojournalism at the Southern Oregon Photographic Association meeting on October 15 in Medford.
