Pianist Robert Schwartz in Concert

Concert Pianist Robert Schwartz will be performing at the Grizzly Peak Winery Event Center on August 11th at 2pm. He will be playing works by Bach, Schumann, Stravinsky and Rachmaninoff.

Pianist Robert Schwartz has earned an international reputation as an artist whose powerful performances are marked by poetry, insight and mastery of his instrument. Known for putting together challenging programs of great dramatic range, he plays actively around the globe and is a sought-after performer in the Bay Area. He has an extensive private teaching studio is currently on the piano faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Planning Commission approves Scenic Drive subdivision, delays Ashland Street commercial buildings

A proposal to create four residential lots on Scenic Drive above Lithia Park won approval from the Ashland Planning Commission this week, despite challenges posed by steep slopes and protected trees.
