Please Touch the Art-First Friday September 5, 2025

Please Touch The Art!

Everyone is an artist here at our September First Friday Art Show!

We’re flipping the script on traditional art shows. For September’s First Friday Art Show, The Columbia Hotel invites you to experience Please Touch the Art — a playful, interactive celebration of local creativity where the usual “Do Not Touch” signs are nowhere to be found.

This is an art show for everyone!

Expect a vibrant mix of works by local artists throughout the hotel — from experimental sculpture to vibrant painting to tactile textile pieces — all curated with one theme in mind: engagement. You’re encouraged to reach out, feel the texture, trace the lines, and connect with the art in a whole new way.

But the creativity doesn’t stop on the walls.

We’ll have crafting and art tables set up throughout the lobby and common areas, so you can make your own masterpiece. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just feeling inspired, we’ve got the supplies and the space. Everyone’s an artist tonight.

As always, The Columbia keeps the vibes high and the beats funky. Our live DJ will be spinning eclectic tunes from hip hop to funky disco house, setting the perfect tone for an evening of art, community, and hands-on fun.

Free, open to all, and delightfully unpretentious. Drinks, art supplies, and good company provided.

Date & Time:
