Rainbow Girls presented by the Ashland Folk Collective

In a world where the line between the living and the dead blurs…

This fall, prepare yourself for a Rainbow Girls show like no other. As the lights dim, and the fog rolls in, you’ll step into a realm where shadows dance, and whispers echo through the night. Welcome to the “Haunting” album release tour—a spine-tingling journey into the unknown. Feel the chill as each note reverberates through the darkness, see the spectral visions come to life on stage, and as the music swells, you’ll find yourself drawn deeper into the abyss. But beware—once you enter, you may never leave. This isn’t just a show… it’s a journey into the unknown, where every song beckons you deeper into the shadows.

King Dream

King Dream is a Bay Area rock ‘n’ roll band helmed by Oakland native Jeremy Lyon, a lifelong songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who crafts dive bar anthems with heart, brains and soul. Hard-rocking yet poignant, his music combines a love for American rock masters like Springsteen and Petty with ‘60s West Coast psychedelia and more contemporary torch-bearers like My Morning Jacket and The War on Drugs — all brought to life by a band of Northern California’s most in-demand players.

Bill that could have offered utilities protection from fire lawsuits gets fix

Oregon lawmakers on Tuesday tweaked a bill intended to increase fire mitigation to ensure it does not also offer utilities immunity from liability in lawsuits for wildfires ignited by power lines. The change to a single sentence in House Bill 3666 comes as a relief to some critics, who feared that giving utilities wildfire safety certificates that establish they’ve “acted reasonably” by state standards would in effect offer them absolute immunity from liability in lawsuits if their equipment causes a wildfire.
