RVML Tuesday Night Lecture Series : Creating and Deepening Safety in an Intimate Relationship: A Soul-inspired Perspective with Gavin & Joy Taylor:

You deserve to feel safe. In love, in your body, and in the messy, magical territory of human connection.

Whether you’re dating, partnered, or somewhere in between, the quality of your relationships often comes down to one thing: Do you feel safe to be your full self? Do you know how to create that sense of safety—not just for your partner but for yourself?

In this honest and heartfelt lecture, we’ll explore building and deepening emotional and relational safety as the foundation for true intimacy. We’ll look at how attachment styles influence your reactions in love, how your nervous system shapes connection, and why co-regulation isn’t just for therapy sessions—it’s essential in everyday life, especially during those vulnerable “What are we even doing?” conversations.

We’ll also explore how transparency builds trust and how balancing the needs for safety, risk, independence, and belonging is a lifelong dance. At the heart of it all, we believe intimate relationships are a sacred space to become your most authentic self—and to support your partner in doing the same.
