RVML’s Tuesday Lecture Series: Skillful Use of Your Mind by Nando Raynolds, MA

The mind is a great servant, but not a great master. Come learn about the neuroscience behind different patterns of attention, the nature of mental habits, and how to change them for the better. If you want a well behaved mind, you have to put it through it’s paces! Deliberate practice of your chosen mental and attentional patterns makes them become your fallback state. Learn how to go from brain chatter and monkey mind to five-sense awareness of the present moment to remembering yourself as awareness itself.

Nando Raynolds, M.A. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has practiced psychotherapy in Southern Oregon for more than 30 years. He has extensive post-graduate training including Hakomi, NLP, Voice Dialogue, NVC, and Energy Psychology, and was the Clinical Director of the Community Counseling Center of Ashland for seven years. He specializes in helping people deepen intimacy with themselves and others. He’s well known as an insightful and entertaining presenter. He also teaches T’ai Chi, Qigong, Contact Improvisation dance and Breathwork-based Mindfulness.
