Executive coach, leadership expert and author Libby Gill shares the concepts of servant leadership, a philosophy that focuses on serving others while meeting business objectives.
In her interactive discussion, Libby will provide strategies for business and community leaders to put key principles, including empathy, collaboration and trust, into practice.
Key takeaways from her presentation will include:
• Creating a “lift-as-you-climb culture” where servant leaders consciously develop others’ capabilities, prioritize the needs of the team over their own, and promote trust and respect.
• Mastering the lessons of kaizen to make continuous improvement an organizational priority by focusing on leadership development at every career level.
• Understanding the distinctions between fixed and growth mindset in order to create lasting individual and institutional growth. Participants will learn why hope—and specifically the science of hope, called hope theory—is integral to people-centric leadership.
