Siskiyou Singers present The Definition of Beauty

Join Siskiyou Singers as we visit the concept of beauty through the words of Emily Dickinson and four of her poems on that theme.

The Definition of Beauty will be held at 7:30 p.. Saturday, May 4 and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at the Southern Oregon University Recital Hall, 450 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland. General admission is $25, and $5 for students and Oregon Trail cardholders. SOU alumni director Mike Beagle, 63, dies unexpectedly

Southern Oregon University announced Monday that its longtime alumni relations director had passed away. Mike Beagle, 63, who served in his role at SOU since 2012, passed away unexpectantly over the weekend due to what SOU President Rick Bailey described as a “hiking accident.”
