Southern Oregon Climate Action Now will mark its 12th year of climate advocacy and education with “Sips For Sustainability,” a social and fundraising event held 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Bellview Grange, 105 Tolman Creek Road, Ashland.
Unless we acknowledge the climate crisis, sustainable living will not be possible. This inspiring evening brings the community together to champion climate science education and demonstrate a shared commitment to a sustainable future.
With live music from the Bill Scholer Band, an array of wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, and the excitement of a mystery wine sale and eco-friendly raffle, attendees will have the chance to connect, reflect, and contribute to meaningful climate action.
Although the focus is on social interactions and conservation, we will have a few short presentations. Among these will be a few encouraging words from Southern Oregon Public Broadcasting’s Keegan van Hook, director of the SOPBS series “Energy Horizons.”
A donation of $20 is suggested. RSVP to [email protected] or visit https://bit.ly/socan-sips.
