The SOU Chamber Ensembles present a saxophone and clarinet “REVOLUTION” spring concert.
“Revolution” will feature a range of captivating music by acclaimed composers Marc Mellits, William Hurlstone, Pierre Max Dubois, Eugène Bozza, and Becky Turro. This concert promises to be a stunning showcase of woodwind artistry, with performances by talented student ensembles, including the Saxology saxophone quartet, the [Reedacted] Clarinet Ensemble, the Coloratura Reed Quintet, and the wind piano trio Forza. The concert is under the artistic direction of SOU Professor of Music, Rhett Bender, a renowned saxophonist and teacher.

The Coloratura Reed Quintet and Forza wind piano trio will showcase their virtuosity and musicianship, delivering dynamic and engaging performances. The program features Thaw by Becky Turro, a stunning composition that captures the essence of a changing landscape.
