SOU Percussion Ensembles – Fall Concert “Stay On It”

The SOU Percussion Ensembles will perform their fall concert “Stay On It” on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Southern Oregon University Music Recital Hall, directed by Dr. Terry Longshore.

The program will feature the SOU Percussion Ensemble and Left Edge Percussion, with music by Henry Cowell, Peter Garland, Yaz Lancaster, Emmanuel Séjourné, and “Stay On It” by Julius Eastman.

Planning Commission approves Scenic Drive subdivision, delays Ashland Street commercial buildings

A proposal to create four residential lots on Scenic Drive above Lithia Park won approval from the Ashland Planning Commission this week, despite challenges posed by steep slopes and protected trees.
